Square Enix Co., Ltd., Square Enix, Inc., and Square Enix Limited (hereinafter collectively referred to as "Company") has established the following guidelines (hereinafter referred to as "Guidelines") in order for players (hereinafter referred to as "You" or "User") to enjoy playing KILLER INN ("Game") and use its communication features (hereinafter referred to as "Functions") which include "Text Chat," "Voice Chat," "Fixed Text," "Stamp" and "Emote." Please read these guidelines carefully and use the Functions in accordance with the Guidelines. The Guidelines form a part of the Square Enix Terms of Service where your use of the Game is subject to your adherence to these Guidelines.

1. User Responsibilities

The Functions are provided for the enjoyment of the Game and to assist you in playing. Company is a service provider of the Functions and does not hold responsibility over the content or posts that are made by you or other Players. You are responsible for your own behavior and communication within the Game. Posts made using the Functions can be hidden or deleted. Please be respectful towards other players at all times.

If you come across a player violating or engaging in the Prohibited Acts below, you may report them through our Customer Support services.

2. Prohibited Acts

Any behavior that has an adverse impact on other players’ gameplay or the Game’s operation is prohibited. The following list provides a general guideline of activities that are prohibited (hereinafter referred to as "Prohibited Acts"). The list is not exhaustive and the Company reserves the right to (i) determine whether certain activities violate Square Enix’s policies; (ii) enforce such policies as Company deems fit, and (iii) revise this list of Prohibited Acts at any time as necessary.

(1) Inappropriate Communication

• a. Hate speech
• b. Discriminatory language
• c. Use of slanderous or obscene language, language that are deemed to be against public order and morals, or could be offensive or vulgar to others
• d. Promoting propaganda or political agendas
• e. Selecting player names or character names that are considered inappropriate or offensive

(2) Misbehavior
This could include but is not limited to acts that can be deemed as defamation, harassment (as judged by the Company), aggressive behavior, stalking etc.

• a. Cheating
• b. Spamming such as posting the same content multiple times
• c. Posting empty characters or strings of blank spaces
• d. Posting of personal information or personally identifiable information or asking for such information
• e. Commercial or business activities
• f. Misleading others
• g. Impersonation of others
• h. Threatening or disruptive behavior towards Company or its employees
• i. Solicitation including but not limited to seeking donations, selling goods or services, seeking sexual or escort services in exchange for compensation
• j. Acts that are detrimental to the healthy development of minors

(3) Criminal acts or acts that assist in criminal acts

(4) Terrorism grooming, child grooming

(5) Acts that interfere with the Game and/or its Functions or the enjoyment of the Game by others

(6) Acts that infringe on the rights of our Company

(7) Real money trading such as the purchase or sales of your Game account with money or goods in the real world

(8) Violation of the Game’s Terms of Service

(9) Any other action deemed inappropriate by Company

3. Disciplinary actions

If an User engages in a Prohibited Act, or Company has reasonable grounds to believe User has or will engage in a Prohibited Act, Company reserves its right, in its sole discretion, to take reasonable remedial actions or issue any penalties or prohibit access to the Game and/or its Functions which may include, but are not limited to, the below measures:

• Restrict use of the Functions
• Temporary or permanent suspension of KILLER INN account

4. Disclaimer

This Guideline may be updated at any time. Company may cease providing all or any part of the Game and its Functions at any time. Furthermore, Company may remove or delete any posts or chat logs at any time and has no obligation to keep a record. Company does not provide any monitoring or management, unless required by law, of the Functions. Furthermore, except as otherwise required by applicable law, Company has no obligation to monitor, delete, or modify posts. Company disclaims all and any liability that may arise through the use of, or caused by the Functions.
