Closed Beta Test Outline

• Testing Period: Planned for Thursday, May 2, 2024, 7:00 AM (UTC) – Friday, May 10, 2024, 8:59 AM (UTC)
• Application Period for iOS Closed Beta Test Phase 2*:
  • Monday, April 22, 2024, 7:00 AM (UTC) – Friday, April 26, 2024, 6:59 AM (UTC).
  • *Application Period for Android Testers has ended
• Recommended Device and System Requirements:
  • iOS: iOS 15.0 or higher / Device: iPhone XS or later / Free space: 5GB or more
  • Android: Android 10 or higher / SoC: Snapdragon 845 or higher / RAM: 4GB or more / Free space: 5GB or more

※Recommended devices and system requirements for the live-version of the game at launch is subject to change
※Please note the possibility for unexpected problems to occur for the test version of the game.

• Number of applicants: Approximately 3000 people (iOS: Approx. 1500 people / Android: Approx. 1500 people)

• Eligibility:
  • Residents of United Kingdom or Australia
  • Ages 18 or older
  • Users must accept and agree to the “Closed Beta Test Application Requirements,” "Closed Beta Test Precautions", and the "Closed Beta Test Tester Agreement (KINGDOM HEARTS Missing-Link)".
• Application Method: Please apply using the application form.
• Announcement of Selected Testers:
  • Selected testers will be notified via the e-mail address registered on the application form on or around Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at 7:00 AM (UTC).

Closed Beta Test Precautions

  • By submitting your application, you agree to the following terms and conditions: Closed Beta Test Application Requirements, Closed Beta Test Precautions, and Closed Beta Test Tester Terms of Service (KINGDOM HEARTS Missing-Link) (collectively hereinafter referred to as the "Terms").
  • SQUARE ENIX reserves the right to change any or all of the Terms at any time. SQUARE ENIX will post information concerning any revision of the Terms on the KINGDOM HEARTS Missing-Link website for the beta test.
  • Submission of up to one (1) application per person is allowed.
  • Contents of the submitted application may not be changed or deleted after submission.
  • Before applying, please set up your e-mail address to receive e-mails from “@jp.square-enix.com”
    
    

• Notes on Participation

  • Contents included in the closed beta test may differ from the future version of the game.
  • The game will use the location information of your smartphone due to its specifications.
  • The authentication code used for the closed beta test can only be used once.
  • We will not provide individual support for in-game issues during the closed beta test.
  • The closed beta test may not be a smooth gameplay experience.
  • Play data from the closed beta test will not be carried over to the official service.
  • Players will not be able to purchase any in-game currency in the closed beta test.
  • The period and contents of the closed beta test are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Emergency maintenance may be conducted during the closed beta test period without prior notice.
  • The parameters and specifications of the closed beta test are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Videos, live broadcasts, and images of the test may be posted for personal use only and in accordance with the "KINGDOM HEARTS" Series Guidelines for Live Streaming and Video/Image Posting, to be posted at a later date. We reserve the right to object to any use of KINGDOM HEARTS materials and we may submit takedown requests to third parties hosting any such content.
  • Selected testers will be sent an application for the OS they are using, so please note that you will not be able to participate in this test if you have selected an OS you do not use when you apply.
  • Please complete the survey that will be conducted after the closed beta test period.
  • For selected testers, we will contact you with details on how to participate in the closed beta test and survey following the closed beta test period to the e-mail address you registered on the application form.
  • Testers are strictly prohibited from transferring the ability to participate in the closed beta test, the application used for the closed beta test, or the authentication code, regardless of whether it is paid or free.
    
    

• For iOS users

  • The closed beta test will use Apple's TestFlight app in addition to the "KINGDOM HEARTS Missing-Link" test app.
  • Please make sure that you are set up to receive emails from "@email.apple.com" sent by "TestFlight".
  • If you cannot receive emails from "TestFlight", you may not be able to install the app and participate in the closed beta test.
  • You may not be able to receive the selection email by SMS/MMS. Please be sure to register an e-mail address other than SMS/MMS to receive the selection e-mail.
