FINAL FANTASY XIV Introduces Legacy and Welcome Back Campaigns

Today we're announcing two brand new campaigns that we've designed to reward the FINAL FANTASY XIV community for their continued devotion, and to reintroduce former players to the latest changes made to the realm of Eorzea. The first is the Legacy Campaign, which introduces several benefits for those who have been subscribers of FINAL FANTASY XIV for a minimum of 90 days between 6th January and the start of version 2.0 beta testing. Benefits include a permanently lowered subscription cost of £6.89 / € 9.99 and they will also be given an exclusive Chocobo mount at the launch of version 2.0. Not only that but your continued support will result in your name being immortalised in the version 2.0 game credits.

Our second promotion is the Welcome Back Campaign for those with inactive accounts that want to check out the latest changes. These players will be entitled to a 10-day free trial between 10th May (03:00 GMT) and 21st May (08:00 GMT). During this trial you'll be able to experience new content and try out some of the latest features, such as the new job system. Costing you absolutely nothing, this is a great way to jump back in the game and see how much Eorzea has grown.
