My personal love for Octahedron: Transfixed Edition has been well documented, but what do the critics think?

As it turns out, they really like it. The neon-soaked visuals, amazing music and unique mechanics struck a chord with many who reviewed the game. Here’s what they said:

NintendoLife - 8/10

Dom Reseigh-Lincoln from NintendoLife called out many of the great features of Octahedron, particularly the “stellar” soundtrack (he’s not wrong).

Overall, he described the game as: “A deliciously rewarding platformer, and now (it's) just that little bit better on Nintendo Switch."

TheSixthAxis believes Octahedron was "One of the standout indie games of 2018”, and said that found the pick up and play nature of the Transfixed Edition a perfect fit for the Nintendo Switch.

Octahedron: Transfixed Edition is out now!

If you are yet to give Octahedron a go, you really should. With more than 50 levels, new medals and time trials and an unbelievable soundtrack from Chipzel, Monomirror, André Sobota and Derek Howell, the Transfixed Edition is definitely the way to go.
