We’re asking YOU the Big Questions! This week, we’re taking a hypothetical tour through the Square Enix cinematic universe.We love our fans. We’re blessed with a community that’s largely passionate, funny, warm, clever and articulate. And boy you sure do have Opinions.
And you know what? We love to hear them, so we’ve started to ask The Big Questions. Our hope is to inspire conversation, share your passions, and generally just have fun. To be clear, there are no announcements, secrets or hints to the future here - it’s just a chance for all of us to come together and celebrate the games we love!
This week, we had a real thinker of a query:
If any Square Enix game were to be turned into a movie adaptation, which would you advocate for and why?
Your response was amazing. You had all kinds of amazing ideas - from games from the DRAGON QUEST, FINAL FANTASY and KINGDOM HEARTS series, to deeper dives into our back catalogue that even we didn’t think of!

And what a unique and wonderful movie it would be - you could probably describe it as ‘Kefkaesque’.
