This fresh new take on the legendary RPG series features exciting action-based gameplay, a rich story full of amazing characters and beautiful anime-infused visuals that capture all the energy and style of the beloved manga and anime series.

What is INFINITY STRASH: DRAGON QUEST THE ADVENTURE OF DAI?

This new game is a fast-paced and visually dynamic action RPG based on the acclaimed anime series DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai.

The story focuses on the titular Dai - a young man raised by monsters, who finds himself on the path to becoming a hero. Joined by a growing group of allies, he fights to protect the world from the sinister Dark Lord Hadlar, and his monstrous army.

You take command of Dai and his companions in a sprawling story that takes you from his humble beginnings up to episode 41 of the anime. The game features two specific modes of gameplay - Story Mode and the Temple of Recollection.

Story Mode delivers classic campaign progression - you’ll move through the story, exploring areas and taking on dangerous foes in exciting real-time combat that will test both your reflexes and your battle strategy.

As you play, you’ll collect and equip accessories known as Bond Memories. These are awesome because not only do they augment the stats of the character they are equipped to, they also unlock scenes from the original manga!

If you’re having a hard time progressing through the story, or just to get even stronger still, you can take on the Temple of Recollection. This is an evolving, repeatable dungeon that changes every time you play through it. Beating monsters earns you exciting rewards, including more powerful Bond Memories.

The deeper you delve, the better your prize… but of course, the monsters get progressively tougher too. You’ll have to decide whether to exit the Temple with your earnings and your life, or risk it all for the promise of something even greater.

It’s a deeply compelling loop that perfectly balances risk and reward and has you going: “ok, just one more run…”

Do you need to have watched the DRAGON QUEST THE ADVENTURE OF DAI anime series to play this?

Absolutely not! The game recreates the story of the anime, so if this is your first introduction to the likes of Dai, Popp and Maam, you’ll get to know them over the course of the narrative, just as you would if you’d watched the show. In that respect, it’s an entirely self-contained adventure.

Of course, if you are already a fan of DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai, you’ll delight in being able to directly participate in your favorite moments from the series - and see them again in an exciting and dynamic new way.

In short, the game is for everyone! Whether you love action RPGs, DRAGON QUEST, anime or all of the above, you’ll have a good time.

INFINITY STRASH: DRAGON QUEST The Adventure of Dai launches September 28, 2023 for PS5, PS4, Switch, PC via Steam and Windows Store, and Xbox X|S.

The game is available to preorder now for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, and also Steam (Nintendo Switch preorders will go live at a later date). In addition to the standard edition, you can get a Digital Deluxe Edition, which includes the full game and the following bonus items:
