Episode 1: Shaping the World
In the first episode, key figures from the game reveal how they build the compelling world of the game, including the art, environments and music.
They discuss how they recreated iconic locations like Cosmo Canyon, the expansive areas and the fascinating details the team added into every area of the world.
Episode 2: Friends of Fate
In the second part of the documentary, the team explains how they approached creating the award-winning story of the game. They discuss how they reinterpreted iconic scenes, how the game allows them to delve more into the characters and their relationships and the artistry that went into the cutscenes.
Episode 3: New Friends & Foes
For part 3, the team talks about the creation of the game’s new allies and enemies, including Yuffie, Red XIII, Cait Sith and, of course, Sephiroth! The episode also delves into their combat styles and how the artists, directors and performers get their personality across so strongly. You’ll also get some insight into the superb localization of the game.
…and yes, you’ll find out why Red XIII rides a chocobo like that.
Episode 4: Voicing Icons
The story of FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH was brought to life partly thanks to landmark performances by the talented English voice cast. They reveal the secrets behind their characters in this star-studded episode that features:
