Square Enix Co., Ltd (henceforth “the Company”) are delighted to hear that fans want to share videos and images of our games online.
While the Company would like to accommodate such requests, the images, videos, characters, music and all other creative elements that make up our games are the intellectual property of the Company or its licensors, and therefore the Company has set out individual guidelines regarding the use of videos and other assets from each of its games on a title-by-title basis, in order to suitably maintain and protect the integrity of their settings and fiction of the Company’s games going forward.
Please adhere to the terms set out within these guidelines regarding the use of videos, live broadcasts, and images (henceforth referred to as “videos etc.”) of “SaGa Frontier 2 Remastered” (henceforth referred to as “the Software”)

Individuals living outside Japan (including those who receive financial or other compensation from a corporate body for broadcasting gameplay).
[Materials that can be used]
The items that can be used in accordance with these guidelines (henceforth “Materials for Use”) are as follows:
[Scope Of Use]
(1) Individuals who receive payment or other compensation from a corporate body for streaming gameplay, e.g.:
(2) Individuals who do not count under clause (1): Those who use The Materials for Use on personal web pages and blogs, video sharing sites, and social networking services. However, the broadcasting of videos and live footage is restricted to video sharing sites (e.g. “YouTube, “Twitch”) that have been licensed by the Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC) for the use of music.
*Use under the name of a corporate body is not permitted.
*Please refrain from use on the types of sites and services listed below:
[Terms of Use]
Please do not use for commercial purposes. However, systems that provide revenue to users posting content which are officially provided by video streaming sites (e.g. “YouTube”, “Twitch”) that have been licensed for music usage by the Japanese Society for Rights of Authors, Composers and Publishers (JASRAC) can be used.
Please display the legal lines below in any posts or live stream broadcasts:

All company names, product names and system names etc. shown are trademarks or registered trademarks owned by the relevant companies.
The required legal lines above may be displayed automatically if images or videos are captured using game console functions. If such images or videos are to be used in an unchanged state, then the legal lines do not need to be added manually.
If streaming scenes that form major plot points in the game’s story, please make sure to display a “spoiler alert” notice to prevent ruining the experience for people who have not played through that scene yet.
Any posting, broadcasting or featuring in a written format (henceforth “Posting etc.”) of videos and playlists etc. of the kind included on the list below is strictly forbidden and any such Posting etc. may be deleted or suitable usage fees collected via the relevant platform’s monetisation systems at the discretion of the Company or a third party entrusted to handle such cases by the Company. Examples of Posts etc. to which this stipulation applies:
*Videos etc. deemed as “created for the main purpose of listening to the game’s music” include those that allow viewers to continuously listen to music data included in the Software through actions not in line with regular gameplay, such as only showing a still image background or making the player character stand still or continuously repeat a simple action while music is playing, or encouraging viewers to listen to the game music in isolation by adjusting the relative volumes of voices and sound effects.
Please do not combine The Materials for Use with other content originating outside of the Software.
Please refrain from secondary use of Videos etc. that have already been published.
e.g. Collecting already published Videos etc. and distributing them through a different medium, such as in a booklet. Such activities are considered as secondary use, regardless of whether the content is provided for free or charged for.
Please do not use for the purpose of advertising other products or services etc.
Please make sure to also adhere to any additional terms of use required by the platform that the content will be used on.
Please do not take part in acts that may lead to slander or libel towards others.
Please do not use for any purposes that run contrary to standards of public moral decency.
Please do not use in relation to any religious, political or antisocial activities.
If the Company requests for Videos etc. to be taken down for whatever reason, please comply and take them down without delay. The Company may also delete any Videos etc. that it judges to be inappropriate.
Please do not overly process or modify The Materials for Use.
It is permitted to create Videos etc. by combining multiple different sections of The Materials for Use, or adding your own voiceover showcasing or commenting on the Software.
[Other]
The Company cannot bear any responsibility for customer behaviour, including ensuring that The Materials for Use do not infringe on the rights of third parties. Customers make use of The Materials for Use under their own responsibility. The Company cannot be held responsible for compensation regarding damages or disputes with third parties, including other players, resulting from any use of The Materials for Use.
The Company reserves the right to update the contents of these guidelines at any time, at the Company’s discretion. If any Videos etc. made public via Posting etc. before these guidelines had been updated do not meet the terms of the new guidelines after the update, the affected Videos etc. may be deleted retroactively.
Supplementary provisions: The above provisions were put into effect from 28/03/2025
