ELIGIBILITY: The Square Enix Members Rewards Program (“Program”) is subject to these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”). The Program is open to habitual residents of the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Belgium, Republic of Ireland, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Netherlands, who are the legal age of majority in their country of residence or 18 years of age (whichever is older) and eligible to create a Square Enix Members account (“Square Enix Members account”) in accordance with the Square Enix Store Terms of Sale. If you are under the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction or under 18 years of age (whichever is older), your parent or legal guardian must consent to these Terms and Conditions on your behalf. When signing up to a Square Enix Members account by clicking on “Join” and placing an order through our website by clicking “Place Order” while signed in to your Square Enix Members account, you agreed to these Terms, which form a binding contract with Square Enix Limited (“Square Enix,” “we,” “us,” and “our”).

Capitalised terms used but not defined in these Terms and Conditions shall have the meanings given to them in the Terms of Sale.

HOW TO BECOME A MEMBER: To become a member (“Member”) of the Program, visit https://gb.store.square-enix-games.com/rewards (“Website”) and follow the directions to create a Square Enix Members account. You may only create one Square Enix Members account for yourself. If you sign up for multiple Accounts or attempt to create multiple Accounts by script, macro, or other automated means, your Accounts will be void and you will not be eligible to participate in the Program.

HOW TO EARN POINTS: Once a Member, you can earn points by participating in various activities, which may be updated from time to time and will be set forth via your Square Enix Members account, and may include creating your Square Enix Members account, purchasing Products on the Store, and following Square Enix’s social accounts (collectively, “Eligible Activities”). We reserve the right to add, modify, and/or discontinue any Eligible Activity for future effect and/or modify the number of points associated with any Eligible Activity at any time (but always before you carried out the relevant Eligible Activity) and for any reason. We will post any changes to the Website, or via your Square Enix Members account, or notify you by email before we make any changes to the Eligible Activities.

The points you earn will be deposited in your Square Enix Members account, and your points deposit and new balance will be accessible through your Square Enix Members account. Any points earned by purchasing Products on the Store will be credited to your Square Enix Members account only when we accept your order and confirm your purchase in accordance with the Terms of Sale. We will deduct any points or rewards awarded for earned for purchasing Products on the Store, if your Store order is canceled or reversed (other than due to a breach of our legal obligations or legal guarantees). An order may be canceled or reversed according to the Terms of Sale, including for any orders returned, refused, or refunded, if we are unable to process the payment method you provided, and for any fraudulent activities. Please inform us as soon as possible of any discrepancies in your points balance.

POINT CONDITIONS/EXPIRATION:

  • Points expire one (1) year from your latest transaction in which points are earned, unless you are a resident in Germany in which case your points will expire three (3) years from your latest transaction. If your Square Enix Members account becomes inactive (e.g. no login or other activity) for at least 12 months your points will automatically expire. Once points expire, they will no longer be valid.
  • Points cannot be transferred, traded, sold, refunded or cashed out.
  • Points have no value outside of the Program.
  • If it is determined that you have breached these Terms and Conditions, we may deduct points associated with any Eligible Activity which relate to the breach from your points balance.
  • If your Square Enix Members account is cancelled in accordance with the Square Enix Store Terms and Conditions, you will forfeit any unredeemed points.
  • If we terminate the Program in accordance with these Terms and Conditions, your points will expire.

BENEFITS AND REWARDS: All rewards offered in connection with this Program will be set forth in your Square Enix Members Account. From your Square Enix Member Account, click on “Rewards” for a current list of reward items. A reward may be limited in number and will be provided on a first come first serve basis. Once a reward item has been depleted, no more of the item will be given. Any material terms and conditions associated with redemption of a reward, including, but not limited to, use or purchase limitations, limited availability, or limited promotional period(s), will be set forth on the Website. All reward item details are at our sole discretion. You cannot transfer, substitute or redeem points for cash. You are responsible for all fees, if any, as well as any other costs or expenses associated with a reward which will be specified on the Website (e.g., shipping fees). Rewards may be considered taxable. We recommend that you keep all account statements sent to you when you redeem points for reward items for record keeping purposes.

GENERAL: These Terms and Conditions may be modified by us at any time in accordance with Section 12.1 of the Terms of Sale.

You can check when these Terms and Conditions were last updated by checking the "Last Revised" date at the top.

The Program may be suspended, discontinued, or terminated in accordance with Section 11 of the Terms of Sale.

Persons found tampering with or abusing any aspect of this Program, who are acting in a disruptive manner, who interfere with others’ participation in the Program, or who are otherwise not in compliance with these Terms and Conditions will be disqualified and all points will be void, but in all cases we will always try and give you notice of termination beforehand, and where possible an opportunity to rectify the problem.

The Program is not valid in combination with any other programs offered by Square Enix. The Program is void outside the jurisdictions listed in the “Eligibility” section and is void where prohibited by applicable law.

Except where prohibited, all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Terms and Conditions, or yours and our rights and obligations in connection with the Program, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the “Governing Law and Venue” sections of the Terms of Sale.
