New Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster Trailer!

By Square Enix Team

This week, get ready to be thrown back into the magical world of Spira, to join Tidus, Yuna and rest of the gang in two of the most celebrated adventures of their generation – now in beautiful high definition. Only four more days for us Europeans, so in the meantime, we’ve got another breath-taking trailer to show you!

Did you spot the bonus content from the international versions in the trailer? And while we’re on that subject, I thought I’d let you know a little more about Eternal Calm and Last Mission… I’ll try to avoid spoilers but I’d avoid the next paragraph if you want experience it for yourself.

Eternal Calm is a short epilogue movie, made from the in-game engine, that bridges the gap between Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2. Playable from the main menu, Last Mission is a special adventure that takes place several months after the events of FFX-2. YRP will tackle the gigantic Iutycyr Tower: over 80 floors of enemies, treasures and traps – you’ll also encounter a boss fight every 20 floors, and of course, a super boss when you reach the top. Also, the combat in Last Mission differs from that of FFX/X-2; it takes place on a grid overlaying the dungeon floor, and you progress by moving a space, attacking, or using abilities.
