Opening CGI Movie – Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster
Ladies and gentleman, we’ve got something special to show you today. It’s the epic opening sequence to one of the most celebrated RPG adventures of all time: Final Fantasy X.
Created by the legendary Visual Works studio at SQUARE ENIX, this stunning CGI movie depicts the destruction of an iconic metropolis in Spira; the world of Final Fantasy X and Final Fantasy X-2. But you already know this! So enough of my jibber-jabber, it’s time to experience the fall of Zanarkand all over again - but this time, in glorious HD!
Anyone who’s played the original game will find this clip is a heart-warming trip down memory lane. But for those lucky newcomers to the saga, this is just the tip of the iceberg! The mysterious force that reduced Zanarkand to ruins will be unveiled, and that awesome underwater sport you see the game’s protagonist playing in the stadium, is actually an incredible mini-game called Blitzball! It’s like a mixture between rugby and football. And to make things even sweeter, there’s only 8 days until the game is out in Europe - praise be to Yevon!
